How to Play Dirty Pictionary
YOU WILL NEED:
Dirty pictionary clues, a bowl (or something you can mix the clues in), paper, somewhere to display the paper (i.e. bluetak to the wall, place on a frame) and pens/textas.
PREPARATION:
Cut paper into small rectangles and, on each piece, write down a cheeky word related to bachelorette parties and/or couples. We recommend coming up with at least 15 different options. Find some examples for your dirty pictionary word list below.
RUDE PICTIONARY WORDS:

Once you have your dirty pictionary words sorted, fold them and place them into a bowl. Arrange this bowl next to a jar full of textas/pens and a stack of paper (make sure the paper is displayed so that everyone at the party can see what is being drawn).
PLAYING DIRTY PICTIONARY:
Split guests into two teams; flipping a coin to decide which group draws first.
The team who wins the toss gets to pick a 'drawer'; who can then strut to the front and grab themselves a dirty pictionary word from the bowl (keeping this word to themselves - nobody else is allowed to see it!).
The drawing players' job is to then quickly sketch, in picture form, the phrase/object on her card. BUT, and this is important, she cannot talk while this is happening.
Whilst drawing her masterpiece, the rest of the team must try to guess what the phrase/object is. All of this excitement must happen within one minute (or the pre-determined time-limit you decide on before the party).
Once a team has successfully guessed the word/phrase OR the time has run out, it is then the next team's turn to show off their drawing abilities.
Teams continue to take it in turns drawing (a new drawer is selected each time) until you either run out of cards or call it a day. Whoever has the most points at the end of this great game wins!

Fun Additions For This Dirty Pictionary Game
UP THE ANTE
Make the following rule before play starts: 'the team who wins the overall game gets to choose a dare/punishment for the losing team'. Example punishments include 'singing at the top of their lungs in the middle of a crowded place', 'dirty dancing in a packed out club', or even 'taking a cheeky shot of vodka'.
The winning team will have a ball coming up with something for the others to do!
Handy Hint:
Come up with a punishment as a group before teams have been picked. This way everyone knows what is coming should they not be the winner of this great party game.
BEST PICTURE
Rather than tossing each picture straight in the recycling bin, why not display each piece of art like dirty 'gallery' for the rest of the evening? Guests and bride-to-be can then vote for their favourite/funniest/worst drawing overall. The person who wins their category receives a prize.
IT'S ALL AN ACT
Want to make your adult pictionary game a little more interesting (and a whole lot funnier)?! Every time the buzzer goes off without the word/phrase being guessed, half of that team (i.e. Team A) must make their way to the front and act it out as a group (like charades)! If the remaining group members in Team A can guess what it is being acted out in front of them, their team still gets the point! Team B simply gets to take a seat and enjoy the show... until their buzzer goes off on one of their turns before a guess has been made, and they too have to put on a performance!

Searching for funny hen party games? You've definitely found one of the best! 'Nailed It!' is not only hilarious and fun, but also very unique. It's a fantastic way to show off the hidden talents of the group, get the gals laughing and more. To view our easy-to-follow instructions, see below.

How to Play This Funny Hen Party Game!
YOU WILL NEED:
A couple of 'experts' (or expert videos), a timer, and supplies to complete each task (see instructions below for more information).
PREPARATION:
First you need to find yourself some experts. It's best if they're attending the party (more fun seeing it unfold in person), but if you cannot get someone to put their hand up, expert videos on YouTube make a great backup.
To find an 'expert', send out a message to your guest list asking them to get in touch with you privately if they have any fun, hidden talents that can be performed in less than one minute (e.g. smokey eye makeup, folding a fitted sheet, making a delicious cocktail, sculpting the bride-to-be out of playdough, etc.). See below for a list of talent ideas:
TALENT IDEAS:
|
|
Once you have your experts lined up (aim for at least two or three if you can), it's time to get the supplies sorted.
Supplies will differ depending on what the talents are (e.g. if your expert is sculpting your bride-to-be out of playdough, you will need to make enough playdough for each team to have a crack + some for the expert's demonstration). If you have three experts, your guests will be split into teams of 3, two experts and your guests will be split into teams of 2, etc. (so you will need to stock up on supplies accordingly).
Before everyone arrives, set up some tables in an area that everyone can gather around. Have your supplies sorted and ready to go.
PLAYING 'NAILED IT':
When it comes time to play, take aside your experts and bride-to-be. Split remaining guests into teams (as mentioned above, this will depend on the number of experts you have. If there are two experts, guests must have two people per team; three experts, guests must have three people per team, etc.).
Now it's time for those hidden talents to shine!
- Expert number 1 starts the game by demonstrating their talent to the group (make sure you have the timer going, because it must be done in one minute!)
- When the expert has finished their demonstration, it's time for guests' to have a turn.
- Each team picks one member to complete the first task.
- The 'chosen one' from each team makes their way to the front of the party (where the tables & supplies are waiting), ready to get their talent on.
- When the siren goes (or you yell 'START!') they do their best to mimic what the expert has just shown them (cue much laughter).
- Once the minute is up, your beautiful bride-to-be gets to award one point (this could be for the funniest attempt, the most accurate attempts, etc.)
- The expert also gets to award one point (to the person whose final result is closest to the original demonstration).
Keep playing rounds, as mentioned in the above paragraph, until all experts have strutted their stuff and all team members have had a turn at mimicking one of the talents. The team with the most points at the end is the winner.
Handy Hint:
If there's a draw, come up with a fun tie-breaker (such as 'pretend to be our beautiful bride-to-be for 10 seconds!). Your bride can then choose the overall winner!
Alternative Ways to Play 'Nailed It'
WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER
Some guests don't like having the spotlight on them, getting up in front of a crowd, etc. And whilst they won't be alone in front of the group for this game (all 'chosen members' will be up front at the same time), they may find it a bit confronting having the rest of the party watching their every move. To fix this problem, have teams compete as a whole team rather than sending one person up per expert. It will be a little more chaotic, but just as hilarious!
Alternatively, if someone is really uncomfortable with the thought of participating in this game, let them sit it out. They could play photographer/videographer or even get involved in the judging. The extra mementos will be well-loved by your bride-to-be.
YOUTUBE
If you can't find any 'experts' within your guest list, you can still play this game. Before the party, find and save a few videos from YouTube that can be replayed in front of the group; these videos will be your 'experts'. Just be aware that some sort of device will be needed to play the videos on, and the screen must be large enough for the entire party to view at the same time (they can't recreate what they can't see, after all).

How to Play the 'He Said She Said' Game
YOU WILL NEED:
Printed 'he said she said' game cards, the bride and groom's answer sheet, pens or pencils.
PREPARATION:
Think of some fun he said she said questions to ask your favourite couple. To help get you started, here are some sample questions:
|
|
CREATING YOUR OWN QUESTIONS:
There is potential to personalise your list. For example, are there any funny questions you could ask based on a story of the happy couple? Or fun questions that play on their particular hobbies and interests?
There is potential to personalise your list. For example, are there any funny questions you could ask based on a story of the happy couple? Or fun questions that play on their particular hobbies and interests?
Once you have your list of questions, it’s time to get some answers.
Take these notes to your friend’s house and, one by one, ask them to agree on a ‘he’ or ‘she’ response. That being said, we know what couple life is like and there is bound to be debate in some instances.
If they just CAN’T seem to decide on an answer (i.e. she keeps saying she wears the pants, he keeps saying that he does – you get the drift!) that’s absolutely fine. When it comes to that particular question on the day, call it a tie. Meaning all players will be awarded 1 point, no matter what their answer is.
Handy Hint:
Write down any cute banter amongst the happy couple whilst they're answering; it will be fun to share with the girls on the day.

Now all that’s left to do is print off your questions (minus the answers - see some he said she said game template ideas here) + your answer sheet in preparation for the big day!
HOW TO PLAY 'HE SAID SHE SAID':
To play, hand each team/person a game sheet and then ask the beautiful bride to read the questions out loud. When she's made her way through the entire list, it's time for you to take over and let everyone in on the actual answers (plus any hilarious couple banter that happened while you were questioning them).
One point is awarded for every right answer. The individual/team with the most correct answers at the end of the game, wins.
Alternative Ways to Play 'He Said She Said'
FILM IT
When you ask the beautiful couple what their answers are to each question, film the “interview”. You can then replay their hilariously cute debates (or their quick, identical answers!) for everyone to see.
Not only a fun way to let the group know if they get a point or not for their answers, but also a lovely keepsake for your bride-to-be following her hens party/bridal shower celebrations.
NAUGHTY OR NICE?
As with most games, this can be played in two ways. There is a G-rated version, perfect for a bridal shower or bachelorette party whereby younger and older guests are in attendance. Then there is the MA15+ version, where the questions are a little more risqué and revealing – making it much better suited to a naughtier soiree.
As always, tailor the game to suit your bride-to-be and her personality. You don’t want to play a raunchy game if it’s going to make her uncomfortable. On the other hand, if you know it will make her night, go for it!
SHE SAID, SHE SAID/HE SAID, SHE SAID

How to Play This Fun Game
YOU WILL NEED:
Pieces of paper (or pre-made truth or dare printable cards), pens and some willing participants.
TRUTH OR DARE GAME INSTRUCTIONS:
It's the classic party game... with an epic twist!
To play, hand out pens and paper to each party goer. Ask that they all write down one truth or dare for the bride-to-be to complete during the celebration. Before taking their pieces of paper back, ask that they also sign their name at the bottom (I mean, the hen needs to know who got her into this mess in the first place - it's only fair).
Now for the fun part.
Once you've collected the truth or dare papers from each of your guests, announce to the group that they are actually completing the truth/dare they wrote down for the bride-to-be, WITH the bride-to-be! Have your wonderful hen read out each of the cards, letting the group know who she will be completing each task with as she goes - cue endless giggles.
Worth Noting:
Your bride-to-be has the option to 'pass' if she wishes (just think of a fun 'punishment' for when this happens!).
Also, this game is supposed to be some harmless fun; you don't want people taking it too far. If there are truth or dares that make the bride uncomfortable (or that you don't think are appropriate), take them out.
Friends should look out for each other and this shouldn't be an issue, but if you're worried about what the group may write, consider hosting the game using the 'PRE-PLANNED' or 'SPIN THE BOTTLE' method instead (outlined in the next section below).

Alternative Ways to Play Truth or Dare
BACK TO BASICS:
Rather than changing up the rules (as outlined above), go back to basics and play this game as it was originally intended. How truth or dare is played depends on your group - but usually guests write down questions and/or actions (that is, truth or dares) for your hen to complete one by one throughout the night.
Handy Hint:
Stagger the truth/dare cards so that she's not copping it all at once! And don't forget to bring along a special prize for your best friend - the perfect surprise for when she finally makes it through all of the challenges.
SCRATCH & ...WIN?!
As in the instructions above, each guests writes down one truth and one dare for the bride-to-be. But in a fun twist, these are then covered up with a cheeky 'scratch to reveal' sticker (as pictured below). What will the bride-to-be attempt next? Nobody knows!
PRE-PLANNED:
For those of you who want some control over what your beautiful hen will be put through on her night of nights, this option is perfect.
Print off or write down some good truth and dare options. Place each individual card in its own envelope (or fold it up so that the words cannot be seen), and then drop them into a bowl.
As guests arrive, ask them to pick one out - but explain that they are not to open their selection until later.
Once everyone is there, gather the group together and make the announcement that the envelopes actually contain truth/dare cards - and the one they picked from the bowl is the truth/dare they must complete with the bride-to-be at some point during the party.
Have each guest read out their card to the giggling group!
SPIN THE BOTTLE:
To prepare, create game cards that feature one truth and one dare each (this means players can choose the option they're most comfortable with when it's their turn). If you wish, you can also make up some 'safe' cards (i.e. the person who gets these doesn't have to complete a truth or dare at all).
Make sure there are enough cards as there are guests attending the party. Place them all into individual envelopes ready for the big day.
To play, use the envelopes to create a circle and place one bottle (wine that you've already polished off works a treat) in the middle.
The first player 'spins the bottle'. opening the envelope that it ends up pointing to (or the closest to it). They then have three choices: do the dare, talk the truth, or pass. If they pass, give them a pre-prepared penalty (such as doing an impression of the hen) and move on to the next player.
Great Truth or Dare Questions
The best truth questions ignite curiosity and often lead to exciting, unique and weird stories (all of which will be listened to intently). Good dares, on the other hand, will become a talking point of the game (for all the right reasons!). Keep dares fun, funny and interesting; meaning guests won't dread their turn, but will rather embrace the next silly thing to come their way.
Handy Tip:
Consider your audience when putting together questions. Keep it light-hearted and PG for the classier occasion, and a bit more risqué for those naughty events!

Chewing gum!
Put your riddles into a list (questions only), and leave space to write answers. These are your game cards. Print a bunch off.
Create a separate answer sheet and print one copy.
To play, hand out the game cards and, one by one, read the questions. Give the room time to laugh and discuss before moving on to the next question. At the end of the list, go through the correct answers - the person/group with the most right is your cheeky winner!
EMBARRASSING STORIES
How to Play:
Have each guest anonymously write down an embarrassing/funny story or experience they’ve had (you can narrow it down to embarrassing/funny dates, sex stories, etc. if you wish, depending on how risqué you want the game to be and how comfortable your guests are playing).
When everyone is done, collect the stories and place them in a bowl. One by one, your hen can read them aloud to the group; attempting to guess who each story belongs to as she goes.
Handy Tip:
Want to add bevs to the mix? Make a rule that the hen drinks for every wrong guess. And when she's right? The person whose story has been uncovered takes a sip of their drink.

PENIS ART
Preparation:
Grab some fun kitchen utensils that can be used for carving up a cucumber/zucchini. Anything from butter knives to peelers or skewers works a treat. Make sure you have at least one carving tool per guest.
How to Play:
Hand a carving utensil and cucumber/zucchini to each guest. On ‘Go!’, they can start sculpting their vegetable into the perfect penis! The catch? Each utensil can only be used for 30 seconds.
Once this time is up, everyone must pass their utensil to the person next to them. Once each guest has used every utensil available, it’s time to judge the peckers.
Handy Tip:
Have a number of winning categories – such as ‘Prettiest Penis’, ‘Biggest Penis’, ‘Ugliest Penis’, etc. It all adds to the fun! You can also make this game a little more PG by choosing to carve the bride or a shape that compliments your theme (such as ice-cream for a sweet tooth party).

PIN THE JUNK
Preparation:
Grab a poster of your hen's crush along with enough cartoon peckers for each guest.
How to Play:
Take turns being blindfolded and spun before trying to 'pin' the pecker in the correct position. Make sure you write each guests' name on their particular penis so that you can keep track of who is winning!
Alternative Ways to Play:
You can get creative with this game. So use something that will be personal/make your bride-to-be laugh! At my own hen party, for example, my bridesmaids photoshopped a HILARIOUS photo of my husband's face onto another man's naked body. The laughter (and cringe from his cousins) was real!
Other options include Pash the Poster (use lipstick and 'kiss' the poster in the correct position), Bouquet on the Bride and Ring on the Finger.

PLAYDOUGH PECKERS
How to Play:
Each team/individual is given some playdough and asked to mould a penis. The catch? This work of art is to be finished within a time limit. Give prizes to the best shaped pecker, the biggest pecker, etc. (get creative and have some hilarious prizes to go with your hilarious categories)!
Don’t want to mould a penis? Have teams mould a man, mould parts of a man, or mould the bride instead.
Handy Tip:
This game can be played in teams or as individuals (make your decision based on how much playdough you have).

POSITION GAME
Strictly 18+ - the 'positions game' will have guests digging into their bedroom knowledge and laughing like crazy!
Preparation:
Find around 10 different position names (such as 'the spider' - I'm learning a lot researching this) and their corresponding images (I'd personally go for cartoons, but it's entirely up to you how risqué your piccies get).
Use this information to create game cards on your computer (follow the link above for an example layout). Print them off.
How to Play:
Hand game cards out and allow time to answer. Award the team or individual with the most correct answers as the winner!
Hot Tip:
This game can be quite hard (pun intended). To make things easier, list the name of each position randomly at the bottom of your game card OR display the names randomly on a large blackboard at the front of the room. It's then up to players to decipher which name matches which image.

On your word, the other person in each pair must place the balloon over the top of the pump, before kneeling down and pumping it up as fast as they can!
First team to either pop or inflate their balloon wins!

SELL YOUR SH*T!
How to Play:
Put together a pack of products/objects that your hen has to try and sell during the celebration. Just how embarrassing these items are is entirely up to you.
Once she's sold her loot, let the bride-to-be spend her earnings on something she really wants (which, let's be honest, will probably be that awesome looking cocktail at the nearest bar or a souvlaki from that food truck down the road!).
Handy Hint:
Get guests involved by asking them to bring along ONE cheeky op shop item that your hen has to sell throughout the night. It will be hilarious seeing what everyone turns up with.

SPIN THE BOTTLE

Set up a circle of shot glasses, each filled with some sort of beverage (anything from straight alcohol such as vodka, to non-alcoholic drinks such as water or prune juice). In the middle of the circle, place a wine bottle (or something similar).
How to Play:
Each guest takes their turn to spin the bottle; drinking the particular shot it stops at. Extra points for those who can drink with a straight face!

TRUTH OR DARE
How to Play:
Each guest writes down a truth or dare for the bride-to-be to complete. When everyone is done, collect the cards and, one by one, hand them to your hen to complete throughout the night (staggering them enough so that she's not copping it all at once!).
Give her a special prize once she makes it through them all - she'll deserve it.
Hot Tip:
Our favourite way to play is by asking guests to sign their names at the bottom of each truth/dare that they've written. Once all of the cards have been collected, announce to the group that they are actually completing the truth/dare they wrote down for the hen, WITH the hen.

DIRTY PICTIONARY
To play dirty pictionary, you first have to come up with a list of hilariously cheeky words related to hen parties and couples. For example, strippers, topless waiters and missionary position. Write each word onto its own individual piece of paper, fold them all up and place them in a bowl.
To play, split guests into two teams. Each team will take turns in having one member pick a word/phrase from the bowl, and then attempting to draw it.
The object of the game is for their team members to guess what they are drawing using pictures alone (that is, the person who chose the word/phrase isn't allowed to talk.. at all!).
Set a time limit to make it harder.

BANNED WORDS
Preparation:
Pick some words that can’t be mentioned throughout the party (that’s right, for the WHOLE duration). Choose words that are definitely going to be said a lot (e.g. popular catch phrases within your group, the groom’s name, the wedding, etc.).
How to Play:
At the start of the event, hand each guest one fun prop (such as a dress up accessory - you can find a variety of awesome options at second-hand stores). If someone is caught out saying a 'banned word', they must hand over their prop to the person who noticed.
The guest with the most props by the end of the party (or by a certain time) wins. They will also look amazing in their new get-up!
Handy Tip:
Not big on fancy dress? Shots, answering truth questions, completing dares, or even pegs can be used in place of props.

D.I.Y. GOWN
The classic game that's perfect for girls night!
How to Play:
Split guests into teams (with at least 3 members per group). Each team is challenged to creating a designer wedding dress within 10 minutes... using ONLY toilet paper (you can find bamboo and recycled toilet paper here). This is achieved by dressing one of the team members (a.k.a. the model) by wrapping, throwing, twisting toilet paper over their body.
When the time is up, models put on a special catwalk show (prepare some fun music for this such as ‘I’m Too Sexy’ by Right Said Fred).
As they strut their stuff, guests can ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ over the ‘beautiful’ craftsmanship. Now is also the time to have your judge select and announce best dress of the night.
Handy Tip:
Put a fun spin on the game by having a ‘speaker’ from each team describe their designer dress to the crowd as their model walks the runway. Hearing the descriptions whilst watching the poor girl attempt to move in her toilet paper getup can be quite hilarious!

Once you have the goss, print off as many question cards as there are guests attending the hen do/bridal shower.
How to Play:
Hand individuals (or teams) a question card and pen. Ask the hen to slowly read each question out loud to the group, giving players time to answer on their sheet. HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW THE BRIDE?
Preparation:
Create questionnaires about your beautiful hen. Include questions such as:
What month was she born?
How many wedding dresses did she try?
What's her favourite drink?
What was her first job?
What is her hidden talent?
What was her favourite subject in school?
What is her favourite food?
What is her middle name?
How to Play:
Put guests into small groups (around 3/4 people) and hand out questionnaires.
One bridesmaid can read the questions aloud. Give enough time between questions for each team to write their answer.
Once the cards are filled, go through the questions once more; only this time ask your beautiful bride-to-be to give her answers (a.k.a. the correct ones!). One point for each right response - the group with the most correct wins.
Handy Tip:
Have bonus rounds as part of the game. For example, ask one person from each group to go up the front and complete a mystery activity; with the winner getting an extra two points for their tally. Example bonus round activities include: 'do your best impression of the bride-to-be' or 'demonstrate a hidden talent'

THE MR & MRS GAME
THE MR & MRS GAME
A few weeks before the hen party, ask the groom to fill out/answer some questions about himself, his soon-to-be bride, and their relationship.
At the party, sit your hen down and, one-by-one, ask her those very same questions.
The twist?
She has to try and guess what her man answered; and for every wrong answer she must do a pre-determined punishment. This could be a sip of her drink, complete a truth or dare or even put on a funny dress up item. For every right answer, she can assign the punishment to one of her guests instead!
Fun Tip:
Film the groom answering each question prior to the celebration. At the hen do, ask your bride a question, let her answer, and then play back his answer (on a TV or computer screen) to see if she was correct.

BEFORE & AFTER
Preparation:
Organise some before/after photo props (either blackboards, one with the word 'BEFORE' and one with the word 'AFTER' written on it. Or a printable set that has been mounted onto cardboard or framed).
How to Play:
As guests arrive, ask them to get snap happy whilst holding the 'before' sign. If you can manage it, get a group 'before' picture as well (with your bride-to-be up front and holding the sign).
When party-goers are ready to head home, organise another group photo - hen once again up front and holding the sign (this time the one that says 'after'). If you can manage, get some cheeky individual 'after' photos of guests as well.
Following the party, print off the photos and place them in a scrapbook/album and gift to the hen.
Handy Tip:
Upload the pics to a secret Facebook event or email so that everyone can have a giggle at their 'before' and 'after's'!

CHARADES
Preparation:
Write down a few words or phrases that are hen/wedding related. Some examples include ‘The wedding night’, ‘strippers’, ‘the first kiss’, and ‘walking down the aisle’. These words and phrases can be as risqué or PG as you like; just think about your guests’ and hen when putting the list together (you don’t want to embarrass anyone!).
How to Play:
Put together two teams. Each team takes it in turns to have one person pick a word/phrase from a bowl, and attempt to act it out. The person who chose the word/phrase is not allowed to talk - meaning team members have to guess the answer from gestures alone. Make it harder by setting a time limit.

Preparation:
As with charades, write down a few words or phrases that are hens/wedding related. Once again, these words and phrases can be risqué or G rated (this depends entirely on the type of event you're hosting).
How to Play:
Split guests into two teams. Each team takes it in turns to have one person randomly pick a word/phrase form a bowl and attempt to draw it.
The object of the game is to have the girls in your team guess the answer with pictures alone (i.e. the person who chose the word/phrase is not allowed to talk). Make it harder by setting a time limit.
Alternative:
Rather than drawing, play this game with playdough. Especially funny when playing naughty pictionary!

THAT'S MY MAN
How to Play:
Before the hens night, find the worst photo you possibly can of your hen’s soon-to-be husband (or wife!). It can be when he was very drunk, waking up, surprised, generally looking weird, etc. Print this picture off and have your bride-to-be carry it around with her for the duration of her celebration.
Why? Because every time someone from the group mentions the code-word (e.g. ‘Man, I’m itchy!’), your hen must go over to the nearest stranger, show them the picture of her partner and proudly tell them how excited she is to be marrying him!

TRACING TRUTHS
How to Play:
Grab some large pieces of paper. Place one piece on the ground and, one at a time, ask the girls to trace around their hands WITHOUT bending their knees!
The best part? Your job.
Write down EVERYTHING the girls say whilst they attempt to trace their hands (such as ‘This is so hard!’).
Once everyone has had a turn, have the girls sit down and tell them something along the lines of: ‘Thanks to all of you we now know what our beautiful bride will be saying on her wedding night!’. Follow this by reading each of the statements out loud (putting the example from above into context, ‘this is SO hard!’). Your party will be in hysterics!

PARTY FAVOURITE:
WHO'S YOUR MAN?
Before the party, ask the groom and each of his groomsmen to take pictures of body parts: nose, eye, foot, hair, hand, chin, bicep, etc. (I once attended a bridal shower where they also included bum shots!). Print each of these photos off at a fairly large size.
On the day, make your way through the body parts; asking the bride-to-be to pick her husband’s photo from the rest (i.e. if the groom has three groomsmen, hold up the four pictures of noses and ask her to point to her groom’s nose. Do the same for hands, chins, etc.).
Every wrong answer? Your lovely hen must drink!
HANDY TIP:
Rather than asking the groomsmen to get in on the game, use images from the internet. Want to save on printing and paper? Put the photos into a slideshow instead.

Thoughtful Hen Party Games
A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE
How to Play:
Party goers write down a special memory they have with the bride-to-be. When everyone's done, collect the memories and place them in a bowl. One by one, the hen reads them aloud to the group; trying to guess who each memory belongs to as she goes.
Hot Tip:
Stick the memories into a special book or photo album for the hen. They will become part of a beautiful keepsake that she can look back on for many years to come!

DATE NIGHT
How to Play:
On a piece of paper, each guest writes down a date night idea for the soon-to-be Mr and Mrs.
These ideas can range from dinner and a movie to a a relaxing day at the spa.
After the party, gift these wonder ideas to the hen and her partner. They can then make their way through the list in their first year of marriage!
Alternative:
This can also be played as the 'Bucket List' game; meaning guests write down activities/challenges for the happy couple to complete instead.
GIFTS FROM THE GIRLS
Preparation:
Ask each guest to bring along one gift for the hen that either symbolises their relationship or brings back memories they have with the bride (e.g. a bottle of sour monkey brings back memories of festivals with my best friend).
These gifts can be wrapped or unwrapped, that’s up to each individual guest.
How to Play:
On the day of the party, your hen can open/look at each gift one-by-one, trying to guess who brought it (and why) as she goes.

MARRIAGE ADVICE
How to Play:
On a piece of paper, guests write down one piece of advice for the hen (e.g. try to have date night at least once a month).
Hot Tip:
Ask guests to write their advice on wooden spoons (or something similar, such as wooden popsicle sticks) and place them in a jar labelled 'Recipes for a good marriage'. Cute keepsake that your hen will adore!
PARTY FAVOURITE:
SNAP THAT
Type up a checklist that includes different group shot and portrait items. ‘The hen and her bridesmaids’, 'funny faces', ‘laughter’, ‘dancing’ and ‘a selfie’, are all great options. When guests arrive on the day, hand each of them a checklist and ask that they capture (photograph) as many items from the list as possible. The person who ticks off the most is the winner!
Hens night games such as this aren't only fun, but also mean LOTS of great memories will be captured for your bride-to-be!

Unique Hen Party Games
LET'S DANCE
How to Play:
Everyone stands in a circle and the bride is nominated to get the dancing started. How? By making up one simple dance move (anything from a star jump to twerking)! For this example, let’s say she went with twerking.
Starting with the person to her left, each guest takes it in turns to repeat the bride’s move. Once the entire circle has had a turn, the next player (person to the left of your bride) twerks before adding in their own move (e.g. a star jump). Each guest then has to twerk and do a star jump.
Continue playing until every person has added their own move. The game finishes with the whole group performing their entire routine together!

PERFECT POEMS
How to Play:
Separate guests into pairs (except for your hen) and give each twosome a special wedding word (such as marriage, stripper, party, ring, honeymoon, etc.).
Explain that each pair is to come up with a poem that includes the bride-to-be, the two people in the pair AND the special word. This is to be done within 10 minutes.
Once the time is up, the poems are read aloud. Your hen then gets to choose the winner

RUBIK'S CUBE PARTY GAME
Preparation:
Ask guests to arrive at the hen party in an outfit that resembles an incomplete Rubik’s cube (in other words, they arrive wearing the six different cube colours – red, blue, white, orange, green and yellow).
How to Play:
The aim of the game is for guests to swap articles of clothing until they have ‘solved’ the cube (basically, until they’re wearing one colour only). Great fun - especially when additional rules are incorporated!

TRADE IT
This game was suggested by our wonderful reader, Jillian!
How to Play:
Hand your hen a little bag full of wrapped chocolates, and explain that she is to trade these for unusual items throughout the night. Can you imagine the hilarious objects and stories this game will result in?!
Handy Tip:
Everyone can get involved in this one. Simply present guests with five wrapped chocolates each, and explain that these are not to be eaten (unlucky), but to be traded for random items throughout the night. The guest with the most unusual trade by the end of the celebration wins a prize!

SCAVENGER HUNT
Have a pre-made list of items and tasks that the girls must collect/complete during the hen party (such as ‘Make and wear a toilet paper veil’ or 'take a photo with something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue').
You can either play this for fun (so everyone joins in each of the tasks) or make it a competition (by splitting guests into teams and assigning points to each item/task. Those receiving the most points by the end of the party being the winners).

BALLOON POP
Preparation:
Write down 10 questions (up to you how cute or embarrassing they are) and place them in 10 separate balloons.
How to Play:
Throughout the night, guests can randomly pop the balloons; with your hen answering whatever question happens to come out. If she fails/refuses to answer, give her a punishment (e.g. drink a shot, sip her drink, do a dare, etc.) Just remember to place all balloons in the bin after use!

BRIEF BUNTING
Preparation:
Ask each of the girls to bring along one (new) pair of underwear as a gift for the bride.
How to Play:
Set up a piece of string or twine with cute wooden pegs – ready to hang the briefs.
At some point during the celebration, the hen can guess which guest brought which pair of underwear for her. Every wrong answer results in a drink/fine for your hen; whereas every right answer results in a drink/fine for the guest who was caught out!
Handy Tip:
This game will provide you with some (hilarious) bunting! Perfect brief bunting positions include above the drinks table, above the food table, at the entrance to the party or as a decoration outside the bathroom/toilet!

LOVE STORY
How to Play:
At the top of a blank piece of paper, write the following sentence:
‘Once upon a time, a girl named xxx met a boy named xxx’ (insert bride and groom’s names where required).
Starting with the first guest to arrive, ask her to write down two or three sentences that follow on from this first statement. Once she’s done, fold the paper down and cover everything but the final line of her writing. When the next guest arrives, have them write down two or three sentences that follow on from the previous guest’s uncovered line.
Continue until everyone has had a turn.
Now for the fun part! Pick a suitable time (such as when everyone is sitting down for lunch, during a bus ride to your activity, etc.) and read aloud the bride and groom’s true love story. Not only will it be hilarious at the time, it will also make a great keepsake.

PICK THE LIE
An easy game that will result in some great stories and lots of giggles!
How to Play:
Sit in a circle and, starting with the hen, take it in turns to tell two truths and one lie (e.g. 'I went skinny dipping after my 21st', 'I snuck out of the house at least once when I was younger', 'I grew up in the circus'). It's then up to the rest of the group to guess which statement is the lie.
You can turn this into a drinking game by having everyone drink if they guess which story isn't true, and having the liar drink if they're caught out.

SLIP IT IN
Preparation:
Write down enough phrases for at least one per guest. Some examples include ‘I went sky-diving last week’ and ‘I want to sail around Australia on my own’. Make sure the phrases are suitable for your particular group (i.e. if there’s grandparents in attendance you probably shouldn’t have any raunchy topics).
How to Play:
Each person gets one phrase as they arrive. Explain that they are to try and ‘slip it in’ to conversation at some point throughout the day/night. The catch? They have to wait at least 5 MINUTES after saying their phrase before claiming victory!
You’ll love watching as they try to keep the story going during this time without getting caught out.

TRICK OR TREAT?
Preparation:
Place a blackboard or sign on a table near the venue entrance that says 'Trick or Treat’. In front of this sign, have enough drinks for one per guest attending.
How to Play:
As guests arrive, ask them to pick a beverage. The twist being that some are treats (i.e. cocktails, straight shots, etc.) and some are tricks (i.e. water, juice, etc.)!

PASS THE PARCEL
Start by selecting a special gift for your hen and wrap it in wrapping paper. Now, wrap as many other layers as there are guests attending (e.g. 10 guests = 10 more layers) in a different colour (newspaper or kraft paper are both great options). Make sure you place some sort of prize in each layer before it’s sealed. This can be anything from an organic pamper product, chocolate, drink cards or dress up accessories (sourced from a local second-hand store), to a truth/dare questions.
How to Play:
Everyone sits in a circle. Play music whilst guests pass the parcel around in a clock-wise direction. Stop the music; the person who is holding the parcel at that moment gets to unwrap one layer and receive their prize. Continue the game until all guests have unwrapped one layer each (making sure your hen receives the FINAL gift!).
