Hen Games - Let's Dance

AUTHOR: BEC OF
 'FOR EVERY HEN'
Does your bride-to-be enjoy a good dance sesh? Are you looking for bridal shower or hen games that cater to this love? Then 'Let's Dance' is the perfect option for her celebration!

You've probably played a form of it in your childhood... it was fun then, and will even more so now (as, most likely, alcohol will be involved!).

For instructions on how to play, see below.

HOW TO PLAY 'LET'S DANCE'

YOU WILL NEED:

Your guests and their imaginations + some music – that’s it!

GAME INSTRUCTIONS:
To play the game, ask everyone to stand in a circle; nominating your bride-to-be to get the dancing started.

How does she do this?

By making up one simple dance move (e.g. a star jump, waving her hands, twerking... you get the picture!). For this example, let’s say she went with the star jump.

Starting with the person on her left, each guest must take their turn to repeat the bride-to-be’s dance move. Once the entire circle has had their turn, the next player does a star jump before adding their own dance move to the routine (the next player is the person to the left of whomever made up the previous dance move; in this case, the person to the left of your bride-to-be).

Let’s say the second player goes with waving her hands. Starting with the player to their left, each guest then does a star jump and waves her hands.
Continue playing until every person has added their own dance move to the routine. The game finishes with the whole group performing the full routine together!

IT'S FUN TO UP THE ANTE ON HEN GAMES LIKE THIS!

MAKE A MUSIC VIDEO

You can’t let such a fun routine go to waste! If you have a video camera (or even a good phone) around, set it up and film the dance routine to backing music. It will be such a fun memory for your bride-to-be to look back on.

MAKE IT HARDER
If everyone is having a ball playing (or your group is smaller), have each guest add TWO dance moves at each turn. Harder and funnier!

PUNISH THE PLAYERS
Forget the steps or do them out of order? Then you will be punished. Taking a sip of your drink, having a shot, answering a truth, completing a dare – the ways you can penalize players is endless!

PLAN A PERFORMANCE
Hitting the town after some pre-drinks and nibbles? Put on a hilarious performance for the club/pub goers by busting out this dance routine at some point in the night!
Hen games like 'Let's Dance' are not only fun, but also memorable!
