Boudoir photography is a celebration of the female form.
It’s a photo shoot that helps you step out of your comfort zone, embrace your body, embrace self love and capture beautiful portraits that celebrate your unique beauty.
A boudoir photo shoot is so much more than just a photo shoot. It’s an experience. It’s a feeling. It’s owning a collection of photographs that remind you of the empowering feeling that comes with stepping outside your comfort zone!

Where do Boudoir Parties Take Place?
This really depends. Personally I have only photographed boudoir hens parties in the studio, but they could also take place in hotel suites if you are hiring one for the weekend. Just ask your professional photographer!
What is Included in Boudoir Party Packages?
Again, this depends on the photographer you choose. But most hens parties include professional hair and makeup, the time it takes to shoot boudoir photos, plus one group print each. From there you usually have the option to purchase additional prints and products (such as photo albums) after you have seen the digital images.
All of the girls bring their own outfits, lingerie and accessories to the shoot, that way it feels more like you.

How Many People Do you Need for a Hen Party Boudoir Experience?

Set an Intuitive Scene
The first thing you need to do is set an Intuitive Scene.
ACCESS & PARKING
I’ve been holding Intuitive Parties for Hens and Women’s Groups for over 15 years, and have found that the environment needs to be safe and easy to access.
If it’s at someone’s home, make sure there is parking available or that you let people know where to park.
Ensuring that guests have safe access to the venue means they can arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy the event.
NIBBLES & DRINKS
Having drinks and nibbles ready for guests on arrival (and offered out whilst waiting for everyone to arrive) also helps.

For Hens Parties I recommend that you start before too much alcohol is flowing. It does help some people relax and let their energy flow (which is what you want); but if they drink too much it can block the energy flow and become stagnant. So alcohol is ok in moderation – after all it is a party.

Have Plenty of Intuitive Games to Play
The more Intuitive Games you produce for your guests to develop their intuition, the more time they will need to try them. I call them ‘games’ because the intention is to have fun while you’re gathering a deeper understanding of yourself. These ‘games’ can be used as serious tools for all kinds of spiritual development.
YOU CAN FIND LOTS OF DIFFERENT GAMES TO TRY ON THE INTERNET, SUCH AS:
- Scrying (looking into a crystal ball or a glass bowl of water)
- Runes (an ancient Roman form of Oracle presented on Stones)
- Oracle Cards (a modern form of Card Readings)
- Tarot Cards/Tarot Reading (an older form of Card Readings)
- Intuitive Trees (draw your tree and analyse the meaning)
- Mandalas (created by Buddhist Monks from coloured sand)
- Pendulums (create your own pendulum for Yes/No answers)
- Tea Leaves (everyone’s favourite and fun to do with the correct leaves)
- Intuitive Flowers (pick a flower image of your goal for proof that your intuition is guiding you)
- Crystals (can be used to develop your intuitive awareness and lots more)

- Intuitive Boxes (let your intuition guide you to reveal what’s in the box)
RUNNING THE GAMES
For your event to go smoothly, give clear explanations of each game or tool so that guests can join in at a beginners level and get enjoyment out of it. Often it’s wise to have pens and paper near each Intuitive Tool so that guests can jot down their cards or responses.
With an Intuitive Party you have control over the amount of time you put into it. It’s very flexible and dependent on your guests. If they get involved all together, your party could go on indefinitely. Alternatively, if your guests sit back and watch it may only take an hour. The flexibility is in the time and the amount of involvement that is put in (there are also spaces to have breaks, another glass of wine or a quick toilet stop as the afternoon or evening goes along).

Intuitive Parties are a journey of discovery as you learn more about yourself, with the help of friends and family. You can get in as deep as you like or remain at the surface and still enjoy the time.
An Intuitive Party has no religious connection and they are not religious in any way, shape or form. There is a spiritual connection between you and your spirit, your maker and your collective consciousness – whatever terminology you use.
You don’t have to be a Psychic, Clairvoyant or an Intuitive to hold an Intuitive Party (although everyone is to a certain degree).

2. Get the Different Groups Together
With many different circles of friends and family attending, it’s great to get them mingling early; and a wine tour is perfect for this. For example, go out of your way to introduce the groom’s family to the bride’s friends, play some ice-breaker games (some ideas later in the article), and take every opportunity to talk to people you don’t know.
