What IS find the guest bingo? Put simply, it's a fun game that reveals interesting facts about fellow party people, whilst simultaneously getting those competitive juices flowing (the desire to win can make for some hilarious encounters!). And this isn't even the best bit. What we love MOST about this game is the fact that it gets everyone mingling right from the start. Making it a great icebreaker game for any occasion. Ready to play? Learn how below... This article probably contains affiliate links. This means we may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you, if you make a purchase through a link below. Please see our Disclaimer for more info :) Related: Bridal Bingo Related: 40+ Hen Party Games Find the Guest Bingo (Quick Overview)
This is ALL about getting party-goers mingling. Each bingo card features a variety of fun facts/statements (such as 'doesn't drink coffee' or 'is the same age as you'). Each participant's job is to try and find the person who matches these statements. The twist? They may only use a person's name ONCE! First to match 5 names with statements in a row, wins. But only if they yell out BINGO. Want to mix things up a little? This game can also be themed (e.g. inspired by Halloween), can be based on items of clothing, or can even become an epic photo scavenger hunt.

EXAMPLE FACTS RELATED TO THE BRIDE:

Find someone who...

|
Add one fact per square, as can be seen in the digital downloads here:
Using your home printer or a local print shop, print off as many Find the Guest bingo templates as there are guests attending (e.g. 10 people, print at least 10 copies).
HOW TO PLAY:
Hand out playing cards + pens/pencils to each guest. Explain that the aim of the game is to try and find the person who matches each statement. And yes, this means mingling, chatting, and getting to know each other right from the get go!
When you find a party guest who matches a statement, write there name in the box. The twist? You may only use each person's name ONCE!
First to match 5 names with statements in a row (horizontal or diagonal), wins. But only if they yell 'BINGO'.
Alternative Ways to Play this Bridal Shower Bingo Game
PERSONALISE THE GAME
There is potential to personalise your game cards. Rather than using 'stock standard' statements for each square, why not ask each guest to email you a fact that is personal to them?
Do they have a weird piercing? Do they have a unique job title? A fun travel experience (e.g. met their partner overseas)? Include one personalised fact per guest.
Handy Hint:
At the end of the game, you could ask everyone to share the story behind their fun fact - giving the group further time to bond!

THEME IT
Is your event based on a particular theme? Can this theme become part of the game? Take 'Halloween', for example. Rather than finding the 'guest', track down the 'witch'!
WEAR IT
Rather than basing the game on facts, base it on what each guest is wearing. You could focus on different colors, textures, patterns, items, accessories, makeup 'look's, or a mix of them all.
EXAMPLE ITEMS INCLUDE:
|
|
SCAVENGER HUNT
Rather than writing down a person's name when they find a match, they snap a photo! For example, take a selfie with someone wearing pink, or an action shot of someone busting a move.
The first to prove they have five 'snaps' in a row, wins.
THE CLASSIC GAME OF 'FIND THE GUEST'
Rather than creating a bingo card template, you can simply write each fact out 'list style' (as pictured below).
For this version of the game, players are still on a mission to find the party-goer who matches each statement. Only this time they aim to find as many matches as possible. Award one point per answer, with the person scoring the most points being the winner!

The Anniversary Trivia Game (Quick Overview)
A thoughtful game, 'anniversary trivia' encourages party goers to write down questions for the happy couple to ask each other on their first anniversary. Examples include 'describe your perfect date', 'what strange things do you do as a couple?', and 'what's a cute or funny habit of your partner that you love?'. Each question is placed in a box or booklet, and then gifted to the couple on their wedding day. On their first anniversary, the bride and her partner can make their way through these heartful (and hilarious!) questions relating to their journey; resulting in beautiful memories, fun stories and sweet moments. Want to mix things up a little? Video guests' asking the questions (and sharing anniversary well-wishes) instead!
Playing the Anniversary Quiz Game
YOU WILL NEED:
Paper (or pre-designed playing cards), pens, and somewhere to store the questions once they've been written (such as a jar or small box).
PREPARATION:
Choose an area of your venue that is visible and easily accessible. You want party-goers to see this set up and head straight over!
Once you've got the spot, place your table there. Decorate with a box or jar, pens and small pieces of paper/card. You may like to leave printed instructions on the table as well. This will help guests take part in the activity without any explanation needed from the host.
HOW TO PLAY:
Encourage friends and family members to write down fun questions; ones that the bride and groom can ask each other on their first wedding anniversary.
Once the question has been written, it can be placed in the provided box.
At the end of the party, either gift the box of questions as is, or take it home and turn the notes into a special book/keepsake document (which can be presented to the bride and groom on their wedding day).
EXAMPLE ANNIVERSARY QUESTIONS INCLUDE:
- What was the exact date of your first date? And where did you go?
- Describe your perfect date.
- Fun facts about marriage in general (e.g. what is the traditional 1st year anniversary gift?)
- What is the story behind your first kiss together?
- How did [bride or groom] feel in the lead up to proposing?
- If you could go on a dream holiday right now, where would it be?
- What was the first movie you watched together?
- Where did you go for your first getaway as a couple?
- What is your favourite restaurant for a romantic dinner?
- What's your favourite take-out for a relaxed night in?
- What's your favourite memory from your honeymoon?
- What are your favourite things to do as a couple? Have these changed over the years?
- What have been your favourite memories as a couple over the last year?
- What's the most hilarious thing that has happened to you both recently?
- What is [bride's] guilty pleasure?
- What is [groom's] greatest strength?
- What's a cute or funny habit of your partner that you love?
- What's your favourite memory (or memories) from your wedding day?
- Who is most likely to plan an anniversary party to celebrate 10 years of marriage?
- What strange things do you do as a couple?
- What's your favourite inside joke/couple secret that always makes you smile?
- If you created a 'bucket list' of experiences to do together, what would be your top 3 items on it?
Alternative Ways to Play:
VIDEO MESSAGES
It's one thing receiving special, hand-written questions from your loved ones. It's another seeing their wonderful faces on camera! Set up an area where guests' can record their questions (and perhaps a cute 'happy anniversary' message) for the couple. After the party, edit the clips together.
This video can then be saved to USB and gifted to the bride and groom on their wedding day (again, with strict instructions to wait ONE year before watching it!). On their anniversary, they can sit back with a bottle of wine, a delish grazing platter, fun questions, beautiful memories, and lovely well wishes from their favourite people!
Handy Tip:
Gift the video in the week leading up to their first wedding anniversary. A personalised surprise that will be truly treasured.
THEME IT
At the top of each piece of paper, write a question 'theme'. For example, you could ask for questions to be 'cheeky', 'sweet', 'fun facts', 'a walk down memory lane', etc. Mix it up as best you can (the more variety, the better!).
With guests writing their questions to the tone of their given 'theme', the couple is bound to wind up with some glorious Q and A time whilst celebrating their 1st anniversary.
SCRAP BOOK FUN
Ask each guest to bring one picture of themselves to the party (or better yet, an image of themselves with the bride and/or groom).
At the event, set out a scrapbook and some glue, rather than pieces of paper. Guests can then stick their image into the book, and write their trivia question next to it. A sweet message could also be scribbled onto the page for added fun (guest book/game all in one!).

The Before & After Game (Quick Overview)
The photo game that results in picture perfect memories! Prior to your event, source one sign that says 'before' and one that says 'after'. These are your all important props. Now fast forward to event day: as guests arrive, set them up for their initial mug shot (make sure they're holding the 'before' sign). At the end of the night, snap each guest holding the 'after' sign. Once the celebration is done and dusted, print all of your images off, stick them into a scrapbook and gift to the hen. Want to mix things up a little? Why not take actual mug shots featuring funny 'crimes committed' (e.g. 'stealing the groom's heart', 'singing off-key at karaoke'), put together a video montage (of each guest arriving and each guest leaving), or snap some epic group photos (one 'before' the party and one 'after')!

Playing the 'Before & After' Game
YOU WILL NEED:
A 'Before' sign, an 'After' sign, and a camera.
PREPARATION:
Either create a 'Before' and an 'After' sign yourself, or grab pre-made digital downloads (such as the ones found here).
If you're designing your own signs, the most important part is the wording. As long as 'Before' and 'After' are featured, you really can't go wrong!
For some quick inspiration, see the images below (note: click an image to view full description):
Print your signs off and frame. We like to take the glass out when framing for two main reasons:
- Reason one: no reflection when taking photos (you want to be able to read the signs)
- Reason two: it's safer for those holding the signs... especially at the end of the night (we don't want any broken glass or accidental injuries!)
Handy Hint:
If you don't want to use frames in this game, either print your signs onto cardstock (meaning they should last the night) and/or mount them onto thick cardboard.
HOW TO PLAY
As bachelorette party guests arrive, set them up for their initial mug shot. This can be in front of a plain wall, with a natural backdrop (gardens, for example), or at a pre-prepared photo booth area. Hand them the 'Before' sign and get snap happy!
At the end of the night, repeat these steps but with the 'After' sign instead.
Once the celebration is done and dusted, print off the 'before' and 'after' images of each person, stick them into a scrapbook and gift to the hen.
Important:
You will need to stick the 'before' photo for an individual next to their 'after' photo. For example, the bride-to-be's 'Before' image will be next to her 'After' image. Displaying them like this will give the best overall effect.
Alternative Ways to Play the Before and After Game
MERRY MUG SHOTS
Rather than going with the standard 'Before' and 'After' signs, why not mix things up a bit with some mug shots? Featuring crimes committed, these props will take the fun factor up a notch (and will make for awesome photo memories, too!).
EXAMPLE BACHELORETTE PARTY 'CRIMES COMMITTED'
|
|
Feature a 'Line Up'
Snap these photos in front of a 'line up' wall for realistic 'mug shot' feels. You may also like to have the bride-to-be's picture printed onto an actual mug - a cheeky yet useful post party gift.
VIDEO MONTAGE
Create a memorable video by filming short clips of each guest as they walk through the door. Dance breaks, twirls and struts all welcome here. At the end of the event, film short clips of each guest as they're about to leave.
Edit the videos together and gift to the bride for a fun and sentimental keepsake!
Editing Options:
When editing, you can do one of two things: place ALL 'before' videos at the start, followed by ALL 'after' videos. OR, place individual 'before' and 'after' videos directly next to each other (so you would see the bride arrive, and then the bride leave, for example).
GROUP PHOTO
Grabbing each and every party-goer individually, before and after the party, can be quite the task! To make things easier, ask for a group photo at the beginning of the party (hen up front and centre, holding the 'Before' sign) and then again after the party (hen holding the 'After' sign this time).
Articles Related to the Before & After Game
HOW TO PLAY 'SNAP THAT':
A simple game that encourages guests to get snap happy! Not only will this be a fun activity at the party, but it will also result in so many photo memories for the bride to enjoy after the party. Win/win! |
CREATIVE DISPLAY IDEAS:
Photos are a lovely, easy way to add a personal touch to events. They create unique focal points whilst bringing back beautiful memories. |
Mug Shots Galore!

Bachelorette Pass the Parcel (Quick Overview)
First up, prepare your parcel. Start by wrapping a gift for the bride-to-be (experience voucher, gag gift, an item you know she would adore). From here, wrap as many layers as there are guests' attending - adding in small prizes as you go. When it's time to play, this beautiful parcel of yours is passed from person to person. This continues until the music stops; at which point the person holding the parcel gets to unwrap a layer. The lucky 'un-wrapper' takes their gift or completes the task before the music starts again. This is repeated (pass the parcel, music stops, layer unwrapped) until the special gift at the end is revealed (by the bride-to-be herself)! Want to mix things up a little? Why not put together a cheeky parcel (filled with naughty riddles, cheeky chocolates and other saucy items), turn it into a drinking game, or stick to one large gift only - playing 'pass the prize' instead!

Playing Hen Party Pass the Parcel
YOU WILL NEED:
Wrapping paper (e.g. kraft paper), distinctive paper for the last layer (perhaps in one of the bride-to-be's favorite colors), masking tape, scissors, twine or ribbon, small prizes, a special prize for the final layer of your parcel game, sentimental music.
PREPARATION:
Decide what’s going inside the layers. Yep, we’re talking about that small prize guests may receive when the parcel lands in their lap!
LIST OF ITEMS THAT ARE PERFECT FOR USING IN PASS THE PARCEL:
- A general knowledge question
- Bridal or naughty drawing challenge game cards (for a cheeky game within a game)
- Dare cards
- Fun wedding trivia
- Mini adult colouring books
- Questions relating to the bride-to-be
- Riddles
- Puzzle books
- Small favours (such as mini bottles of spirits, packets of seedlings, mini chocolates)
- Small books
- Truth questions
- Reusable straws, food wraps or makeup wipes
- Lottery tickets or scratchies
- Coupons or vouchers to local cafes, restaurants and/or experiences
Rig The Game!
Make sure your hen is the last one standing; unwrapping the final layer and revealing a gift selected just for her.
Gift ideas include something she can experience with her future husband (movie or dinner voucher), a keepsake book (where she can stash photos from her hen’s party) or a fun novelty item (picked for the party).
Make it memorable and your girl will smile the biggest at the end of the game!
Related: Bridal Shower Prize Ideas
Prizes sorted - now it's time to put it all together:
- Step one: start by wrapping the main gift with your distinctive paper (this will make the final layer stand out).
- Step two: wrap remaining layers with your main roll of paper; adding small prizes, questions and/or dares as you go. These can be in every single layer of the parcel, or every other layer - the choice is yours.
- Step three: once all layers are wrapped, finish your parcel off with a twine bow and maybe a flower or two (optional).
How Will You Wrap?
Create as many layers as there are guests (meaning the whole group gets a turn at unwrapping). Or go up to a certain number, such as 10, enforcing a shorter time limit on the game.
MAKE IT UNPREDICTABLE:
Don't add prizes in a certain order, shake it up a bit.
For example, rather than 'small gift, question, drawing challenge card, small gift, question, drawing challenge card', make it, 'small gift, small gift, question, small gift, drawing challenge card, question'.
Keep everyone on their toes!
Don't add prizes in a certain order, shake it up a bit.
For example, rather than 'small gift, question, drawing challenge card, small gift, question, drawing challenge card', make it, 'small gift, small gift, question, small gift, drawing challenge card, question'.

HOW TO PLAY THIS CLASSIC GAME
Pass that beautiful parcel!
Guests start by sitting in a circle; bride-to-be holding the perfectly wrapped package.
When the music starts playing, the parcel is passed to the person beside her. This person then passes it to the person beside them. The parcel continues on it's journey around the circle until the music stops.
Lucky enough to be holding the package at this point? You get to unwrap one layer; revealing the (possible) prize within.
The music then starts again, the parcel is passed, the music stops, and another layer is unwrapped.
Repeat until the special gift at the end is revealed!
Important Note:
Want your hen to get the final gift? When the distinctive paper shows its face, be sure to stop the music when the bride-to-be is holding the parcel. #pressureson
It's All Up To The Music Gal...
Will the person in charge of music be watching the game? If so, they can ensure each guest gets a turn (and your bride gets the final gift!). If not, it will be completely random and unpredictable. How will you play?!
Alternative Ways to Play
A CHEEKY TWIST
Naughty riddles, 18+ party gifts, saucy trivia questions; simple alterations will turn this sweet bachelorette party game into something a little more mischievous!
DRINKING GAME
Everyone takes a seat, shot glass in hand. Place bottles of spirits in the middle of your circle. For each layer that is unwrapped, that player must take a shot of their favourite spirit. The game continues once the glass is empty. The person who unwraps the final layer gets a special gift!
Alternative:
For a tamer version, everyone takes a seat with their drink of choice (punch, bubbles, non-alcoholic). Wherever the parcel lands, that person must take a sip of their chosen refreshment.
PRESSURE'S ON
Adding questions to your layers? Let's up the ante a bit.
If a guest gets their question wrong, there's a cheeky 'punishment' (such as a shot of alcohol). And if they get it right? The game continues like normal (or everyone else takes a shot instead).
GAME WITHIN A GAME
Instead of small prizes, pick a card game (such as charades, pictionary or truth or dare) and add one card per layer instead. Then every round of pass the parcel will be broken up by some sort of hilarious activity. The laughter will be real!
THE PRIZE TABLE
Set up a table with an array of prizes. Think delicious home-baked goodies, beautiful beverages, small plants - the options are endless. Label each prize with a number.
Now, instead of wrapping small gifts in each layer of your parcel, wrap numbered pieces of paper. At the end of the game, guests can excitedly take their piece of paper to the prize table, match their number to an item, and find out what they've won.
Alternative:
Instead of numbering the prizes, use the numbers in your parcel as a bounty collection order. That is, the person who unwrapped number 1 gets to pick a prize from the table first. Then number 2, then 3, and so on. This will mean guests can take home something that they actually want!
PASS THE PRIZE
A fun poem or riddle will decide who the parcel is passed to (and who will be your winner). A great ice breaker game that's quick, easy and unique!
Click here for poem inspiration and further game instructions.

Would She Rather (Quick Overview)
An engaging activity that adds a touch of laughter to your celebration! To play, give participants a range of fun, amusing and thought-provoking questions. The catch? They have 2 answers to choose from, and they HAVE to pick one (that they think the bride would prefer). For example, 'would you rather be kissed every day or hugged every day?'. As you can see, these questions will reveal a little about each guests' personality (as well as the bride) in a fun and memorable way. Want to mix things up a little? Add fun penalties for those who don't answer questions within a time limit, tailor questions to your event theme, make it all about the big day (e.g. 'would you rather fall whilst walking down the aisle or fall whilst having your first dance?'), or throw a spanner in the works by finishing the game with a few saucy questions!
How to Play the 'Would She Rather' Game:
YOU WILL NEED:
Playing cards (more info below) and some pens or pencils.
PREPARATION:
First of all, get those playing cards ready! You can do this by either downloading some pre-made options (click here) or by creating your own.
To make the cards yourself, first put together a list of ‘Would She Rather’ questions. These can be about sports, foods, drinks, holidays, etc. Get creative and have fun with it.
Handy Tip:
Keep your hen in mind when putting together the list. Try to pick questions that will bring back memories, or questions that you know will make her smile/laugh.

Alternative Ways to Play This Bridal 'Would She Rather' Game:
SPICE IT UP
Throw a spanner in the works by adding a couple of dirty questions at the end. Nobody will see it coming and the shock will result in a great deal of laughter!
Handy Tip:
If you do decide to spice it up a bit, just make sure you know your audience. If anyone is easily offended, or there are underage guests attending, steer clear of the raunchier options. Opting for questions that add cheek without being too naughty, instead!
PENALTIES
Set a time limit. If someone in the group can't make a decision before the time is up, they are 'penalised'! This could mean taking a sip of their drink, downing a shot, or completing a funny dare.
Alternative:
Rather than a penalty, the person who can't decide in time is eliminated from the game. Whoever is left standing at the end is your winner (or winners!).
THEME IT
Create your questions around the event theme (e.g. burlesque, wine, pirates, the 90's) or topics that the guest of honour loves (such as food, movies or travel).
WEDDING BELLS
Speaking of themes, why not tailor the entire game to the wedding itself! Rather than asking questions about day-to-day life, see what your bride would rather when it comes to one of the BIGGEST days in her life.
Example questions include:
WOUD YOU RATHER...
- Someone show up in a white dress or someone get proposed to at the reception?
- Fall whilst walking down the aisle or fall whilst having your first dance?
- Have the photographer cancel or the caterer cancel?
- Small intimate wedding or large, extravagant wedding?
- Traditional white wedding dress or unique and colourful gown?
- Live band at your reception or a DJ at your reception?
- Traditional tiered wedding cake or a dessert table with a range of options?
- First dance with your partner or a flash mob dance with your wedding party?

The A to Z Race (Quick Overview)
The word challenge with a competitive streak! To play, participants write as many wedding related words as possible within a set time limit. The catch? Each word has to start with a different letter of the alphabet (for example, W could be 'Wedding', B could be 'Bride', etc.). The goal is to think quickly and creatively, in an attempt to have the MOST answers when the buzzer goes off (and in turn be crowned winner). Want to mix things up a little? Up the cheek factor by putting a dirty spin on things, make it personal (by using cards with the bride's name, and participants writing words that relate to her), or theme the game with a topic that the guest of honour loves (travelling or animals, for example).
How to Play the A to Z Game
YOU WILL NEED:
Playing cards (more info below), pens or pencils and some form of timer (egg timer, stop watch, phone - they all do the trick).
PREPARATION:
For starters, you need to prepare game cards by either downloading pre-made options or creating your own.
If you're making the cards yourself, simply put together a page that lists each letter of the alphabet, along with writing space. To help get you started, see the example below:

MAKE IT PERSONAL
Rather than using the alphabet, you could create game cards using your bride-to-be's name instead. Guests' can then fill in 'dirty words', 'wedding related words', or even 'hen/bachelorette party words' next to each letter.
For a more personal touch, ask that guests write down words that represent the bride-to-be. For example, F for Fun, H for happy, and so on.
PICK A TOPIC
Is there a topic your bride-to-be loves more than anything else? Why not run with it? Dog breeds, makeup, animals, alcoholic beverages, holiday destinations - the options are endless.
Handy Tip:
If you're hosting a themed event, you may like to incorporate it into the game. For example, spooky words for a Halloween inspired party, frosty words for a Winter celebration, Christmas words for a Chrissy themed party, or pirate words for a Pirate themed party.
