Wedding Word Scramble (Quick Overview)
It's time to bust out some brain teasers! A fight to be the ultimate word unscrambler, the aim of the game is to make sense of as many jumbled words as possible (e.g. WVOS = 'VOWS'). The person or team to unscramble the most words before the timer goes off, wins! Want to mix things up a bit? This game can also be personalised (e.g. words inspired by the happy couple), turned into a bingo experience, or can even become a competitive relay race.

HOW TO PLAY
On 'GO', players grab their game cards and fight to be the ultimate word unscrambler - making sense of as many words as they can within the allotted time limit. We often allow 2 -3 minutes, but this can be changed depending on how long your list is, and how quick/difficult you want the game to be.
The person or team to unscramble the most words before the timer goes off is your winner!

Ditch the timer - the person or team to unscramble all of the words first wins.
Alternative Ways to Play this Word Game
PERSONALISE THE GAME
If this is being played at a bridal shower or bachelorette, then guests are no doubt there to celebrate one couple in particular. So why not make the game all about them?!
Rather than scrambling general wedding or hen related words, come up with a list that focuses on the couple's relationship. Their quirks, cute dates, proposal location, cute nicknames, destinations with meaning, and so on.
TEAM PLAY
Split the group into two teams. Start the game by revealing the first scrambled word on your list. Team 1 has a limited time to unscramble it. And if they can't, the other team gets a chance. When the word is uncovered (or both teams time out), move onto the next scrambled word.
The team with the most points at the end, wins.
SCRAMBLE BINGO
Create bingo cards and fill each square with a unique scrambled word. Make a list of the words you've used - this will become your 'callout' sheet.
To play, the host starts by reading aloud one unscrambled word (e.g. VOWS). Within a limited time, participants try to find the scrambled version on their card (e.g. the square that says WSVO). If they are able to find the word, they mark it off.
The host continues reading the words to the group, until someone gets BINGO (a.k.a. five words in a row!).

THE RELAY
Up the competitive factor with this fun, team game! To play, create a relay race where each person is to unscramble a word before passing the sheet onto the next person. This continues until all words are solved. The first team to cross the 'finish line' (i.e. uncover ALL of the words), wins.
Handy Hint:
Make it harder by enforcing a 'no help' rule. Players must work the word out on their own - no team-mates input allowed!
SPICE IT UP
Does the bride-to-be have a cheeky streak? Why not throw a couple of hilariously naughty words in the mix?!
