Bridal Bingo Game (Quick Overview)
A fun activity that brings out your competitive side, bridal bingo is played by filling in blank bingo cards with gift predictions (i.e. presents the bride-to-be may receive). As each gift is opened, party-goers mark off the item if it matches one of their guesses. The first to get 5 squares right in a row gets BINGO. Want to mix things up a little? This game can also played as speed bingo (where things get a little faster), mingle bingo (where people are tracked down rather than gifts) and musical chairs (a fun twist on the original game that will keep everyone on their toes!).

How to Play the Bridal Bingo Game
YOU WILL NEED:
Bridal bingo cards, pens/pencils, the beautiful bride and her gifts!
PREPARATION:
First up, prepare some game cards. These can either be purchased pre-made (click here for some great options), or created yourself.
If you've chosen the DIY route, take a look at the images below for inspiration. Before starting on your own, think about how you want your cards to look. Then head to the computer and whip up a design!
Programs such as Powerpoint, Canva and Affinity are great for this.
Handy Design Tips:
Planning a special bridal shower theme? Incorporate this in your design - it will make the celebration flow.
Alternatively, feature the bride-to-be's favorite color in your creation; it will add a sweet and personalised touch to the game.
HOW TO PLAY 'BRIDAL BINGO':
When it's nearly time for the bride to open her gifts, hand each guest a game card and pen/pencil. Ask that everyone fill the blank spaces of their cards with gifts they think the bride-to-be may receive. Examples include:
- Foodie gift ideas: recipe book, cocktail mixing kit, cheese board, quality wine glasses, personalised cutting board, his and hers mug set, wine, champagne
- House gift ideas: luxe bath towels, decorative throw pillows, candles
- Other gift ideas: activity voucher (something the couple can do together), herb garden kit, gift basket

Alternative Ways to Play this Great Game:
BRIDAL WORD BINGO
A fun and interactive option that provides a more typical BINGO experience! To play, hand out pre-filled game cards (featuring wedding related words such as bride, groom, rings, proposal and photographer). Then, have the host call these words out randomly until a BINGO is declared (that is, someone gets 5 words in a row)!
MUSICAL CHAIRS
Each guest starts with their own card, and writes down gift predictions in each square. BUT unlike traditional bingo, their card will not stay with them for the entire game.
This is where the fun starts.
After the bride unwraps one gift, a song is played for 20 seconds. When the music starts, much like musical chairs, everyone gets up and has a dance (leaving their paper and pen on their seat). When the music stops, players run to a new chair (and therefore, a different bingo card).
The second gift is then unwrapped, and the above is repeated. Items are marked off, music is played, everyone dances, music is stopped, players find a new chair/card. This continues until someone gets bingo!
Handy Tip:
Rather than doing this every single round, throw it in at random points throughout the game. For example, when you're a couple of gifts in, mix it up with 'musical chairs'. Wait for another few gifts to be unwrapped before playing the music again.
A variation of this game that will keep everyone interested and on their toes!
SPEED BINGO
Let's speed things up a bit. To play, the bride secretly opens each gift away from prying eyes. She then holds it up for everyone to see - but only for a limited time (5-10 seconds, for example). Participants have to quickly view the gift and mark it off their cards before it's too late. An added element of competition that will keep everyone alert!
FIND THE GUEST BINGO
Rather than gifts, different descriptions fill each square. For example, 'is related to the bride', 'has travelled to more than three different countries', 'is wearing something pink', 'went to school with the bride'. It is up to party-goers to find someone who matches each description. When they've got five matches in a row, they yell 'BINGO!' and bask in winner's glory!
As you can see, this option revolves around real-life facts. Making it the perfect game for a large group of people, especially when they don't know each other that well.

A fun game designed to bring out everyone's competitive side! Bridal (or bachelorette) word search is played by teams/individuals finding as many listed words as possible, within a given time-limit. Whoever finds the most words before the timer goes off is awarded the title of 'word search champion'. Want to mix things up a little? Up the cheek factor by creating a word search filled with naughty words, give a nod to your overall theme by finding words that compliment the celebration (e.g. ghost, zombie and scary for a Halloween themed event), or even personalise the search (only adding words that in some way relate to the guest of honor - such as their name, partner's name, pet's name, favourite drinks, or even favourite foods!).

How to Play the Bachelorette Word Search Game
YOU WILL NEED:
A word search template. Either make your own on the computer (using programs such as Word or Powerpoint), or purchase a pre-made activity card (example pictured below). You will also need pens/pencils and a timer.
Handy Tip:
Remember to include a list of hidden words at the bottom of your cards!
PREPARATION:
If you have a printer at home, use this to print off your game cards. If not, head to your local print shop instead.

Make sure you have enough cards for the number of players.
HOW TO PLAY:
On 'GO', players grab their game cards and search for the hidden words - finding as many as they can within the allotted time. For an easy search, we often allow 3-4 minutes; but this time limit can be changed to suit your search and party.
The person or team who find the most words before the timer goes off is your winner!
Alternative:
Ditch the timer - the person or team to find all of the words first wins.

CHEEKY WORD SEARCH FOR BACHELORETTE PARTIES

Create a 'shape' with your hidden words. That is, hide the words so that once they're circled or highlighted, they create an image.
Your word search might result in a love heart, the bride's initials, the groom's initials or even a pecker! Get creative and have fun with it.
THEMED WORD SEARCH
Bring the theme to your games by hiding words that relate to, or compliment, the celebration.
A pamper party, for instance, may feature words such as 'spa day', 'nail polish', 'massage' and 'facials'. Whereas a spooky soiree would focus more on eerie options (such as 'ghost', 'moonlight', 'vampire' and 'zombie').
WEDDING WORD SEARCH PUZZLE
Unlike their cheeky counterparts mentioned above, wedding word search game cards are a sweet, multi-age option that can be played at a range of events. To make, simply hide wedding related words (such as bridesmaid, ceremony, wedding cake and flower girl) within the puzzle.
PERSONALISED WORD SEARCH GAMES
These are all about the guest of honor and her husband-to-be. So rather than hiding general wedding or hen related words, come up with a list that focuses on the happy couple's relationship and life in general.
Some examples include their names, cute nicknames they use, funny phrases they say, locations that have meaning (such as where they're getting married, or where he proposed) and so on.

PRINTING
Print your word search puzzles onto thin card stock. Not only will it have a more professional 'vibe', but will also be a lot sturdier than a normal piece of paper.

- If you created a 'bucket list' of experiences to do together, what would be your top 3 items on it?
Alternative Ways to Play:
VIDEO MESSAGES
It's one thing receiving special, hand-written questions from your loved ones. It's another seeing their wonderful faces on camera! Set up an area where guests' can record their questions (and perhaps a cute 'happy anniversary' message) for the couple. After the party, edit the clips together.
This video can then be saved to USB and gifted to the bride and groom on their wedding day (again, with strict instructions to wait ONE year before watching it!). On their anniversary, they can sit back with a bottle of wine, a delish grazing platter, fun questions, beautiful memories, and lovely well wishes from their favourite people!
Handy Tip:
Gift the video in the week leading up to their first wedding anniversary. A personalised surprise that will be truly treasured.
THEME IT
At the top of each piece of paper, write a question 'theme'. For example, you could ask for questions to be 'cheeky', 'sweet', 'fun facts', 'a walk down memory lane', etc. Mix it up as best you can (the more variety, the better!).
With guests writing their questions to the tone of their given 'theme', the couple is bound to wind up with some glorious Q and A time whilst celebrating their 1st anniversary.
SCRAP BOOK FUN
Ask each guest to bring one picture of themselves to the party (or better yet, an image of themselves with the bride and/or groom).
At the event, set out a scrapbook and some glue, rather than pieces of paper. Guests can then stick their image into the book, and write their trivia question next to it. A sweet message could also be scribbled onto the page for added fun (guest book/game all in one!).

Now fast forward to event day: as guests arrive, set them up for their initial mug shot (make sure they're holding the 'before' sign). At the end of the night, snap each guest holding the 'after' sign. Once the celebration is done and dusted, print all of your images off, stick them into a scrapbook and gift to the hen. Want to mix things up a little? Why not take actual mug shots featuring funny 'crimes committed' (e.g. 'stealing the groom's heart', 'singing off-key at karaoke'), put together a video montage (of each guest arriving and each guest leaving), or snap some epic group photos (one 'before' the party and one 'after')!

Playing the 'Before & After' Game
YOU WILL NEED:
A 'Before' sign, an 'After' sign, and a camera.
PREPARATION:
Either create a 'Before' and an 'After' sign yourself, or grab pre-made digital downloads (such as the ones found here).
If you're designing your own signs, the most important part is the wording. As long as 'Before' and 'After' are featured, you really can't go wrong!

Print your signs off and frame. We like to take the glass out when framing for two main reasons:
- Reason one: no reflection when taking photos (you want to be able to read the signs)
- Reason two: it's safer for those holding the signs... especially at the end of the night (we don't want any broken glass or accidental injuries!)
Handy Hint:
If you don't want to use frames in this game, either print your signs onto cardstock (meaning they should last the night) and/or mount them onto thick cardboard.
HOW TO PLAY
As bachelorette party guests arrive, set them up for their initial mug shot. This can be in front of a plain wall, with a natural backdrop (gardens, for example), or at a pre-prepared photo booth area. Hand them the 'Before' sign and get snap happy!
At the end of the night, repeat these steps but with the 'After' sign instead.
Once the celebration is done and dusted, print off the 'before' and 'after' images of each person, stick them into a scrapbook and gift to the hen.
Important:
You will need to stick the 'before' photo for an individual next to their 'after' photo. For example, the bride-to-be's 'Before' image will be next to her 'After' image. Displaying them like this will give the best overall effect.
Alternative Ways to Play the Before and After Game
MERRY MUG SHOTS
Rather than going with the standard 'Before' and 'After' signs, why not mix things up a bit with some mug shots? Featuring crimes committed, these props will take the fun factor up a notch (and will make for awesome photo memories, too!).
EXAMPLE BACHELORETTE PARTY 'CRIMES COMMITTED'

Feature a 'Line Up'
Snap these photos in front of a 'line up' wall for realistic 'mug shot' feels. You may also like to have the bride-to-be's picture printed onto an actual mug - a cheeky yet useful post party gift.
VIDEO MONTAGE
Create a memorable video by filming short clips of each guest as they walk through the door. Dance breaks, twirls and struts all welcome here. At the end of the event, film short clips of each guest as they're about to leave.
Edit the videos together and gift to the bride for a fun and sentimental keepsake!
Editing Options:
When editing, you can do one of two things: place ALL 'before' videos at the start, followed by ALL 'after' videos. OR, place individual 'before' and 'after' videos directly next to each other (so you would see the bride arrive, and then the bride leave, for example).
GROUP PHOTO
Grabbing each and every party-goer individually, before and after the party, can be quite the task! To make things easier, ask for a group photo at the beginning of the party (hen up front and centre, holding the 'Before' sign) and then again after the party (hen holding the 'After' sign this time).
